Walker Charitable Foundation Names 2026 Scholarship Recipients
The Walker Charitable Foundation is proud to announce its 2026 scholarship recipients: Carlos Clay, Amia Johnson, Claire Cius, and Feddie Morales.
Each year, the foundation recognizes outstanding students who have demonstrated determination, leadership potential, and a commitment to building a brighter future through education. Since launching its scholarship program in 2016, the Walker Charitable Foundation has helped support more than 100 scholars as they pursue higher education and professional careers.
The foundation was established to honor the vision of Charles and James Walker, two African-American brothers who understood firsthand the challenges that many students face while pursuing educational opportunities and navigating life’s obstacles. Through mentorship, guidance, and financial assistance, the Walker Foundation continues to invest in students who show promise, resilience, and a desire to make a positive impact in their communities.
The 2026 scholarship recipients represent a new generation of leaders who are taking important steps toward achieving their academic and professional goals.

“These scholarships are about more than financial support,” the foundation shared. “They are about creating opportunities, encouraging personal growth, and helping students pursue their dreams with confidence.”
In addition to scholarship funding, the Walker Foundation emphasizes mentorship and personal development, helping scholars gain the tools, guidance, and support needed to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
The Walker Charitable Foundation congratulates Carlos, Amia, Claire, and Feddie on this incredible achievement and looks forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in the years ahead.
